Step into a weekend like no other – a surreal blend of nostalgia, playful mischief, slow dancing, pep rallies, and uncontrollable laughter. This is high school the way you want to remember it.

We transformed a 45,000 square-foot school into a fully immersive playground of all things school-themed. From class blocks and P.E. to prom, a homecoming basketball game, cheerleading tryouts, and everything in between, this weekend was a joyous trip back in time.

Guests got to dive into extra-curricular clubs, enjoy school lunches, receive candy grams, peruse a book fair, and even experience ROTC recruiting and morning announcements – all set against the backdrop of a school buzzing with energy.

In collaboration with the Oregon Coast School of Art, we brought this experience to life, enhancing the school’s reputation as a one-of-a-kind creative event space on the Oregon Coast. Not only did the event raise awareness of OCSA’s artist residency program, but it also provided an unforgettable time for all involved. And yes, we had an absolute blast doing it!

As the Key Producer and Art Director for Back to School, I:

• Ideate and produce immersive elements that enhance and elevate the event’s theme.

• Manage the full creative production process, including timeline management, budget oversight, and implementation.

• Create compelling media concepts to promote the event and engage the target audience.

• Foster cross-team collaboration to ensure creative directions align with both event objectives and the needs of collaborators.

• Oversee on-site operations, including the installation and execution of décor and ambiance, to ensure a cohesive and impactful experience.
